Magne Bakkeli

Magne has over 20 years of experience as an advisor, architect and project manager in data & analytics. He is skilled at navigating both business and technical challenges, and works equally well with executive management and the IT department.

Magne has been involved in a broad spectrum of projects, deliveries and challenges related to data ingestion, processing and analytics. This includes developing target pictures for data and insight, setting up various delivery models, designing and implementing data storage, integration architecture, data governance and various reporting and analytics solutions.

In these deliveries, Magne has held roles as advisor, project and team lead, and/or solution architect/functional architect. He can also fill roles as Chief Data Officer (CDO) or IT Director. Magne has worked across industries throughout his career. Industries he knows well include energy, oil and gas, media, ICT, finance and FMCG/retail.

Magne has previously held various consulting and advisory roles at EY, BearingPoint, SAS Institute and Manamind/InfoStream. From 2009 to 2021, he was responsible for the Data & Analytics team at PwC Consulting, which included sales, professional development, recruitment and quality assurance of deliveries.
