Monica Kappelslåen Plassen

With over 10 years of experience as a consultant in data and analytics, Monica is a versatile data engineer and data architect. With solid experience in design and development related to data platforms, she has worked on everything from design and advisory in architecture to implementation, testing and deployment.

Through projects across various industries, she has gained knowledge in various software for ELT/ETL, analytics, reporting and text analytics. She has great capacity to immerse herself in complex challenges and find solutions. Monica has shown that she can work well in everything from small projects to larger, cross-functional, international teams, and in recent years has worked in many sectors, from healthcare to banking and insurance. Monica is also certified in various Azure and SAS technologies.

Monica holds a Master of Science degree in Physics and Mathematics from NTNU (2016), with a particular focus on numerical methods and optimisation. Her education has given her broad expertise in theoretical and applied physics and mathematics, in addition to programming, statistics and economics.

Previously, Monica has worked in Data & Analytics at KPMG and Capgemini.
