Nicholas de Flon

Nicholas has worked as a consultant in analytics and data engineering for 4 years. He has experience with both large and small projects, primarily within lakehouse-based platforms in the food industry, and is certified in Azure, Snowflake, Databricks and dbt.

Nicholas has designed and developed data products on Azure and Databricks for larger companies built around Data Mesh using Azure Data Factory, dbt and Power BI.

Nicholas holds a Master of Business Administration from NHH Norwegian School of Economics and Østfold University College, with specialisations in finance and business analytics. His master’s thesis covered portfolio modelling using various machine learning algorithms with the aim of outperforming the Oslo Stock Exchange. With strong results and excellent execution, the thesis was nominated by his supervisor for the NFI Thesis of the Year Award. With solid business understanding and technical expertise, Nicholas is a strong asset to have on your team.
