We specialise in delivering efficient data flow and data management. Glitni has now entered partnerships with several of the biggest names in modern data platforms: dbt Labs, Snowflake, Google Cloud and Databricks.

What does this give you as a customer?

Glitni is technology-neutral when we assist with architecture and technology choices. We believe that use cases and framework conditions should always guide the choices. The partnerships don’t change this.

We work with technologies from all three providers on projects today. The partnerships give us a certification as a service provider, as they require us to both use and be certified on the technologies.

The partnerships give our customers confidence that we are committed to continuously developing expertise in the most widely used technologies, and can contribute to informed choices. We gain access to help and documentation that makes us even more effective when delivering architecture advisory and implementation services.

About the providers

dbt

dbt is a SQL-based transformation tool we use in many of our projects. dbt is an open source tool, where our own Sindre Grindheim has made several contributions to the source code. The company dbt Labs provides enterprise functionality.

Databricks

Databricks is a fast data processing engine based on Apache Spark, suitable for both data transformation in a data warehouse setting and for processing advanced analytics services. Databricks can be used as a processing engine for data stored in a range of different data storage services.

Snowflake

Snowflake is a cloud-based database technology designed to enable simple and efficient storage, processing and analysis of large amounts of data. The technology has rapidly gained a large following, and is widely used to support data warehouse and data lakehouse solutions.

Google Cloud

Google Cloud is a cloud service that gives users access to a broad spectrum of products and services to help develop, store and manage data and applications. We primarily use this infrastructure to set up data platforms, often with Google BigQuery as a central component.
