Data Platform Engineer
Role Description
As a Data Platform Engineer at Glitni, you take part in evaluating, designing and implementing data platforms.
You work closely with business and IT to understand what capabilities are needed in a data platform to deliver business value - whilst also addressing aspects related to security and technical performance.
We envisage that you…
- Enjoy creating solid and scalable data platforms, with modularity and cost-effectiveness, for various clients and services
- Thrive setting up CI/CD pipelines and building data platforms as code, and perhaps have experience with Terraform, Terragrunt or similar
- Like working with data architecture and finding the right components to deliver testable and modern data solutions
- Love building robust and automated pipelines to ingest and process structured and unstructured data, in the form of both batch and stream, using modern cloud technology
- Are comfortable with agile methodology and making sound cost-benefit assessments during planning
- Can communicate confidently in Norwegian, as most of our client work is in Norwegian
- Want to work with like-minded people, share your knowledge with others and help drive our field forward.
